Established in 2018 by Dr. Melinda Luper DVM, the clinic specializes in integrative and holistic veterinary care for dogs, cats, birds, and exotic animals. Dr. Luper received her DVM from Oklahoma State University in 2001 and graduated from Northeastern State University. She began her career in Tulsa, OK, honing surgical skills across many animal types, and also worked as a veterinarian for an exotic animal sanctuary treating kangaroos, monkeys, lions, tigers, and bears. In 2008 she relocated to Houston, becoming senior veterinarian at a large hospital while continuing education in holistic therapies. She is Fear Free Certified and brings expertise in integrative holistic medicine, nutrition, small animal and exotic surgery including orthopedics, and wildlife rehabilitation. Previously practiced at Rice Village Animal Hospital and Animal Medical and Surgical Hospital. As a hobby, Dr. Luper trains dogs for Protection Sports Association competitions and continues to work with wildlife. Services include: annual/biannual wellness exams, vaccines, vaccine titers, lab work, heartworm screening, nutrition counseling, OFA certification, medicine, surgery, oral care, holistic & alternative care, digital radiography, boarding, online pharmacy, and natural pet products (including raw diets). Same-day and emergency appointments available. Accepts CareCredit and credit cards. Affordable wellness packages offered.
