VEG is a national emergency veterinary chain treating over 300,000 emergencies per year across all locations. The Houston Medical Director is Dr. Paige Kail (DVM — Texas A&M University and Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine), a native Texan with a passion for emergency medicine, the human-animal bond, surgery, and diverse ER cases. VEG Houston provides emergency and urgent care for all types of pets including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and exotic animals. A defining feature of VEG is that pet owners stay by their pet's side the entire time — including during hospitalization. The open-concept hospital allows owners to observe all treatment. No appointments are needed — open 24/7/365 including all holidays.
