Dr. Parkerson grew up in the Houston area, graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Biomedical Science, and earned her DVM from Ross University in January 2004. She is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and holds Advanced Certification in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS).
