South Arlington Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital located at the NE corner of Collins St and Mayfield Road, 3315 S. Collins St., Arlington, TX 76014, serving the Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Mansfield communities. The clinic was founded by Dr. Lewis Moore, DVM in May 1980, beginning with just over 1,000 sq ft and expanding three times — doubling in size after 7 years to add boarding and grooming, then again in 1992. Now celebrating over 45 years in practice. Dr. Moore was born in Independence, Missouri; attended the University of Missouri from 1971–1978; earned his BS in Agriculture (Cum Laude, Honors Scholar) in 1975; received the Alpha Zeta Award (1973) for highest scholastic record in the College of Agriculture, the Cecil Elder Pathology Award (1976), Phi Zeta Veterinary School Awards (1976–77), and his DVM in 1978. Dr. Moore has been in practice for 44+ years and continues ongoing continuing education. Associate veterinarians include Dr. Benton, DVM (Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, 2002; part-time, Mondays; interests: puppy/kitten owner education, animal behavior, general medicine and surgery; 17+ years at the clinic) and Dr. Bryan Agado, DVM (BS Animal Science and Biomedical Science, Texas A&M University, 2009; DVM, Texas A&M University, 2016; background in mixed animal practices in Oklahoma and Texas; interests: wide variety of animals and individualized medical cases). Hospital Manager is Debbie Scott; veterinary technician Raquel Renteria; veterinary assistants Mya Boston, Porter Lowery, and Cameron Langsdorf; Kennel Manager Jessica; and Client Service Coordinator Faith. The clinic accepts dogs, cats, and all animals. Services include: wellness exams, vaccinations, pet dentistry, pet surgery (routine and specialist referral), pet boarding, grooming, pet blood work, declawing and nail trimming, X-rays, laboratory testing, hospitalization, outpatient care, 24-hour IV fluid therapy, and microchipping. New clients receive $25 off their first exam. Closed every first Saturday of the month. Accessible parking near entrance. ASL proficient. Curbside pickup available.
