Richter Animal Hospital & Royal Pet Resort is a privately owned, full-service veterinary hospital and pet resort located at 4601 W Sublett Rd, Arlington, TX 76017, proudly serving Arlington, Mansfield, Kennedale, Fort Worth, and Grand Prairie since 2004. Founded by Dr. Lee Richter, DVM (Texas A&M University, 2000; Houston native). Originally opened in a shopping center space, Dr. Richter built the current state-of-the-art hospital from the ground up in 2012. A 5,300 sq ft renovation was completed in 2022, adding 3 exam rooms, enlarged lab and surgery rooms. In 2019, The Royal Pet Resort & Spa — a full-service boarding, daycare, and grooming facility with drive-thru drop-off and pick-up — opened adjacent to the hospital. Veterinary team: Dr. Lee Richter, DVM (Texas A&M, 2000; Founder); Dr. Heather Ogle, DVM (Texas A&M, 2000; specialties: dermatology, geriatric medicine); Dr. Tony Randolph, DVM (Texas A&M, 2008; specialties: surgery, ultrasound); Dr. Briawn Franklin, DVM (Oklahoma State University, 2016; specialties: surgery, exotics); Dr. Caitlin Oliver, DVM (Texas A&M, 2023). Vet Tech team: Lauren (RAH since June 2013), Emily (RAH since January 2018; inventory manager), Anya (RAH since February 2023; studying microbiology at UT Arlington), Nathan (RAH since September 2023). The hospital has been recognized as the best veterinary clinic in Arlington, Mansfield, and surrounding areas since 2018. Fear Free techniques practiced. Services include: wellness & preventive care, illness & injury care, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, spay & neuter, boarding, doggy daycare, grooming, in-house pharmacy, x-rays, ultrasound, emergency care (during clinic hours), hospice & euthanasia, mass removal, cat declaw.
