The Veterinary Large Animal Hospital (VLAH), also known as the Large Animal Teaching Hospital (LATH), is a part of the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) at the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS), Texas A&M University, located at 500 Raymond Stotzer Pkwy, College Station, TX 77843. The LATH facility was built in 1993 (celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023) and is a world-class academic veterinary hospital treating horses, cattle, and all other hoofstock. Clinical services are provided by board-certified faculty members from the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences (VLCS) with the assistance of fourth-year veterinary students. The Department Head is Dr. Jennifer Schleining, DVM, MS, DAVS-LA (Clinical Professor; Iowa State University DVM 2001; Office 207 VLAH; jschlein@tamu.edu). Associate Department Head for Research & Graduate Studies is Dr. Noah D. Cohen, VMD, MPH, PhD (Professor of Large Animal Internal Medicine; Office 255 VLAH; NCohen@cvm.tamu.edu).
