Originally founded in 1956 by Dr. Beryl Cline and later joined by Dr. Richard Baker, the clinic served the Alvin community for 50 years — first as livestock practitioners and later as companion animal veterinarians. In August 2005, the clinic was taken over by Dr. Amanda Hoffpauir, DVM (Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2003), who serves as Medical Director and Co-Owner. Dr. Lori West, DVM, joined the team in 2006 as Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Beth Rodney, DVM and Dr. Georgina Perez, DVM are also Associate Veterinarians. The support team includes Amanda Bates (LVT, CVPM), and certified veterinary assistants Ashley Rivera (CVA II Lead Technician), Taylor Marullo (CVA II), Jasmine Chaka (CVA II), Jovani Lang (CVA I), Jordyn Boutwell (CVA I), Alexis Mears (CVA I), and receptionist Lindsay Henry.
