Phoenix Veterinary Speciality is one of India's first exclusive exotic animal clinics, located at Vipin Residency, Gokhale Road South, Dadar West, Mumbai. Founded and led by Dr. Shiwani Tandel — an Avian & Exotic Animal Specialist with a BVSc & AH from Bombay Veterinary College, a Master's in Animal Reproduction & Obstetrics, and an M.Sc in Conservation Medicine from the University of Edinburgh — the clinic is dedicated entirely to exotic animals (birds, reptiles, small mammals, and wildlife). Dr. Shiwani completed a transformative internship at the Dubai Falcon Hospital and serves as a Liaison for the Association of Avian Veterinarians and Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians in India. The clinic is equipped with modern diagnostic facilities including X-ray, sonography, and blood testing. It is now also known as The Exotics Vet, with branches in Chembur (Mumbai) and Aundh (Pune). No dogs or cats are treated — exotics only.
