Embry Animal Clinic was started in January 2021 by Dr. Levi Embry, who grew up outside of Kemp, Texas, with the intent of creating an establishment that could care for the practical medical needs of every animal, from newborns to end-of-life care. Dr. Embry earned his bachelor's degree in biology (with minors in chemistry and history) from Ave Maria University before attending veterinary school at Oklahoma State University, where he developed particular interests in endocrinology (especially reproduction), pathology, and surgery. He is married to Rebecca and they have four children, along with a standard poodle named Lucy, and the family calls Tyler home. The clinic offers state-of-the-art care with extended regular hours and after-hours emergency care availability, welcoming both appointments and walk-ins. Services include preventative care, reproduction and endocrinology, surgery and emergency care, routine vaccinations, dental care, and equine veterinary care.
