Vickery Place Animal Hospital (VPAH) is a full-service, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital established in 2007, located at 2720 N. Henderson Avenue in the Vickery Place / Lower Greenville neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The hospital provides compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic/pocket pets (ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and other small mammals). The hospital is led by Medical Director Dr. Kerry Kores DVM (Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine; post-graduate surgical and medicine internship at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital). The veterinary team includes Dr. Patrick Martin DVM (Associate Vet, Oklahoma State University; interests in ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and exotic animal medicine), Dr. Maximilian Miranne DVM (Associate Vet, LSU graduate; interests in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, endocrine disease management; joined 2022), and Dr. Katherine White DVM (Associate Vet, Texas A&M University; board member of Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association; interests in dermatology and ophthalmology). Founding Partner Dr. Wendy Dearixon DVM (Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine) is not regularly taking appointments but is present at the clinic. The management team includes Director of Operations Katlyn Donnell (with VPAH since 2017) and Office Manager Magen Stoermer (with VPAH since 2022). The facility includes an in-house laboratory for rapid diagnostics (heartworm testing, blood chemistry panels, urinalysis, microscopic tissue evaluation), digital radiography, ultrasonography, tonometry (Tonopen for intraocular pressure), and ECG. Services include general wellness exams, vaccinations, preventive care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, sick and illness exams, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, comprehensive dental care, diagnostics, emergency care, exotic and pocket pet care, boarding (7-day/week supervision by technicians), and specialist referrals.
