Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital (WSVH) is an AAHA-accredited, full-service veterinary hospital located at 11715 Alta Vista Road, Fort Worth, TX 76244, proudly serving the Fort Worth, Keller, Watauga, Haslet, Roanoke, and Westlake communities. The hospital was founded in 2007 by Dr. Ken Slough, DVM (B.S. Animal Science, Oklahoma State University, 1996; DVM, Oklahoma State University), who previously practiced at a 12-doctor small-animal practice in Cincinnati, Ohio, with specialization in CO2 surgical laser techniques, and a 6-doctor companion-animal hospital in Flower Mound, TX. Dr. Slough's professional interests include advanced dentistry, orthopedic surgery, allergy management, laser surgery, brachycephalic laser surgery (nasal and soft palate correction for Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs, Shih Tzus, and Bostons), and laser therapy. He serves on the Keller Center for Advanced Learning (KCAL) Advisory Board (KISD), the Tarrant County Junior Livestock Association Board of Directors, and the Veterinary Management Group-45 Executive Board. The veterinary team includes Dr. Elizabeth Loter DVM (on staff since 2008), Dr. Elizabeth Chen DVM (Texas A&M Galveston alumna), Dr. Josh Brown DVM (started as a Keller High School intern), and Dr. Amanda Via DVM (joined July 2023). Practice Manager is Debi C. (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, joined 2023); Lead Veterinary Technician is Jessica K.; Lead Veterinary Assistant is Kali M. (WSVH since 2011). The hospital is AAHA-accredited (fewer than 15% of animal hospitals in the US hold this distinction) and is equipped with CO2 laser surgery, laser therapy, ultrasonography, digital radiography, in-house diagnostics/bloodwork, and tonography (glaucoma checks).
