Trail Pet Hospital is a solo-veterinarian owned, full-service small animal veterinary hospital located at 17194 Preston Rd, Suite 122, near the intersection of Preston Road and Campbell Road (near Kroger) in Far North Dallas, Texas. The hospital is owned and operated by Dr. Jeffrey Suh DVM, who grew up in Hawaii (attended Punahou High School), studied Biology at Carleton College in Minnesota, and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Konkuk University Veterinary School in South Korea in 2006. After receiving his degree, Dr. Suh worked at specialty hospitals in South Korea, volunteered at a U.S. military base under U.S. board-certified veterinary surgical specialists, and studied at the University of Guelph Veterinary School in Canada. With over 12 years of experience across South Korea, Canada, California, and Texas, Dr. Suh brings a unique global perspective to veterinary medicine. He is a firm believer that veterinarians must possess all-around skills to serve patients when specialists are unavailable. Anna Kim MD (Dr. Suh's wife; former Pediatrician with 14 years of experience and hospital owner in South Korea) serves as Hospital Administrative Assistant. The practice team also includes a Practice Manager (born in Wisconsin, AAS in Veterinary Technology from Arizona), and Certified Veterinary Assistants Jennifer Ornelas CVA, Clarissa Rangel CVA (with PRAC since 2017), Jennifer Velez CVA, and Gabriella Ferrer (undergraduate at Texas A&M, Wildlife & Fisheries). Trail Pet Hospital is a USDA-certified facility. Services include comprehensive wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, dentistry (scaling, extractions, oral surgery), digital radiography (state-of-the-art), abdominal ultrasound, fecal exams, urinalysis, bloodwork, soft tissue surgeries, advanced orthopedic procedures (TPLO/ACL repair, patellar luxation correction, femoral head and neck osteotomy, simple fracture repair, limb/toe amputations), perineal hernia repair, feline perineal urethrostomy (PU), GDV repair, trauma stabilization and triage, emergency care, and internal medicine.
