West Brazos Animal Center (WBAC) is a full-service veterinary medical facility located at 1212 Baggs Court, Bryan, TX 77803, serving the Brazos Valley community. Originally established as West Villa Maria Veterinary Clinic, Dr. James M. Baggs purchased the practice in 2007 and rebranded it as West Brazos Animal Center in January 2021. In November 2025, the clinic moved into a brand-new state-of-the-art 12,000-square-foot hospital in west Bryan, equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical technology including CT scans, digital X-rays, arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgery suites. Dr. Baggs graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and specializes in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. He is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), Brazos Valley Veterinary Medical Association (BVVMA), and the Veterinary Orthopedic Society. The veterinary team also includes Dr. Zoe G. D. Kolkhorst (DVM, Texas A&M 2022, specializes in ultrasound diagnostics), Dr. Bryan Tolentino (DVM), and Dr. Jamye Davies (DVM).
