About

Greencross Vets Teneriffe provides veterinary care for pets of residents from Teneriffe, New Farm, Spring Hill, Fortitude Valley, Newstead and surrounding areas. The hospital has underfloor heating in the hospitalisation facilities, computerised records, and a surgical theatre equipped for everything from routine desexing to complex surgeries. It also has the iCare TONOVET tonometer for painless eye pressure measurement. Every service is performed on site, and pets are not transported to other locations for treatment. Services include vaccinations, desexing, heartworm and parasite prevention, dentistry (cat and dog teeth cleaning), digital X-ray, ultrasound, clinical pathology, in-house laboratory testing, microchipping, blood tests, nutrition and weight advice, puppy school and kitten school, and an exotic pets service for birds, rats, mice and guinea pigs. The clinic is expanding in September 2026 to add more space and an extra consultation room, with no disruption to services. The team includes Dr Cameron M (Veterinary Director, BVSc James Cook University, interest in internal medicine and emergency care), Dr Bethany Mc (BVSc Hons, University of Queensland 2023, interest in small animal internal medicine and ultrasonography), Dr Charlie (veterinarian, medicine, surgery and preventative care), veterinary nurses Sandra T, Briska and Steph, and receptionist Mia E.
