Allen Animal Clinic is a privately owned, mixed-animal veterinary practice located at 1013 E Main St, Allen, TX 75002. Established in January 1972 by Gary 'Doc' Hefner, DVM, it was Allen's very first veterinary facility and has proudly served Allen and Collin County for over 50 years. The clinic is led by Dr. Balie Inglish White, DVM (Texas A&M University), who completed her veterinary internship at the legendary 6666 Ranch caring for racing and ranching quarter horses and cattle. Small animal services include wellness/physical exams, vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, blood work, internal and general medicine, spay and neuter, mass removal, routine surgeries, pet dentistry, microchip identification, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory. Large animal services (horses, cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas) include ambulatory/farm calls throughout Collin County, large animal preventative care, vaccinations, deworming, equine dentistry/floating, ophthalmology/eye care, lameness evaluation (flexions, analgesia blocking, digital x-rays), reproductive and obstetrics services (estrous monitoring, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis, foaling, calf pulling, bovine caesarian), pre-purchase equine exams, horse microchip identification (DATAMARS ISO-compliant chips, FEI/USEF recognized), 1M–3M endoscopy, and large animal castrations/gelding.
