Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital was founded in February 2015 by Dr. Andrew Roemisch and Dr. Alese Eichhorn (Roemisch), both DVMs from Texas A&M University. Dr. Andrew, who grew up in Stephenville, Texas, graduated from Angelo State University in 2007 and Texas A&M's veterinary program in 2011, with a special interest in food animal medicine and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Alese, a native of Lorena, earned her Animal Science degree from Texas A&M in 2004 and her DVM in 2010, later completing an equine internship in San Antonio, with special interests in surgery and equine medicine. The locally owned, full-service hospital treats all species -- dogs, cats, exotic pets, and farm animals including horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs -- with additional locations in Woodway and Groesbeck. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency service for large animals and small animal emergency care until 10 PM, plus wellness exams, vaccinations, surgery, critical care, and house/ranch call services.
