Sugar Land Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned, brand-new, full-service veterinary clinic founded by Dr. Amira Abdel-Malek, a native Houstonian who earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Master's in Public Health from Texas A&M University before completing her veterinary degree at the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in Scotland. After practicing as an associate and later a relief veterinarian across Greater Houston, she opened her own clinic to build lasting client relationships. The clinic offers wellness and preventative care, dentistry (including extractions and oral surgery with dental X-rays), pain management, geriatric care, and in-house imaging and laboratory diagnostics for dogs and cats. Clients repeatedly praise Dr. Abdel-Malek ('Dr. A') and staff members Yolanda, Christie, and Bria for warm, attentive, and reasonably priced care.
